“Mark is so incredibly easy to work with. We went in to record a 4 track EP and he has gone above and beyond to help us achieve what we wanted. If you employ him to work his magic on your music you won't regret it. He is realistic, down to earth and will listen to your suggestions and queries no matter how vague! He just GETS it. Seriously awesome experience, highly recommend for bands of all levels of experience.”
- Emma Friday (Crooked Thieves)
“He has a world class ear, deep technical knowledge, and knows how to bring out the best performances in the client. Look no further.”
- Emily Highfield (Suldusk)
“He was as determined as us to make our album sound awesome! Always went the extra mile and made the whole process pain free and enjoyable!”
- Matty James (Jarface)
“Mark has worked on a couple of albums of ours. The first was back in 2013 and most recently on the new Tenth Planet record. Working with him is a real pleasure. Whether it be added production, keys, or a blistering solo, he can do it all, amazingly! I'm Canadian so I don't use the word "mate", but he's most definitely a great friend and producer. I can't speak highly enough of his work.”
- Brian Paul (Tenth Planet)
“I have worked with Mark at Kelsonic studios on many projects now and I can't think of anyone else I would choose to record with. From start to finish he is hardworking, professional and puts everything he can into making the project a success.”
- Dave Langlands (The Eternal)
“Mark's studio is versatile and adaptable for any kind of project. Mark is also a highly skilled and talented musician. I had a vocal project that I needed to record, and while I had the bones of it, Mark's musicianship and creativity helped me bring it to life by helping me explore different ideas and execute them.”
- Mel O’Shea (Solo Singer)
“Mark Kelson is an amazing sound producer and engineer, he is able to bring out the best in every singer and musician - all the while being patient and supportive, and respectful to your own musical personality. I personally have had great experience recording, editing and mixing with him, and cannot recommend KS highly enough!”
- Emily A. Saaen (Solo Singer)
"Mark Kelson is one talented fellow! To put it simply, we were all blown away by how hassle free and enjoyable the recording process was working with Mark. He is a really genuine and personable guy and you could tell he really cared about getting us the best result for our money. Mark really understood the sound and really made the songs come alive. Thanks Mark, we made an epic EP and couldn't have done it without you."
- James Murray (Numerator)
“As a mastering engineer I get to hear a lot of mixes from many different engineers, from my perspective the mixes that require the least amount of work are the best ones. Mark Kelson’s mixes fit into that category, plus he’s a real sweetheart of a bloke who cares about his clients and will always go the extra yard to get the result that’s required.”
- Tony “Jack the Bear” Mantz (Deluxe Mastering)
“Mark was honest, direct and did everything he could to clean up our mess. He added finesse to each song, layering on tasteful keyboard tracks, guitars where required, and took feedback throughout the project. He knew when to say yes and no … and taught us how to “not overthink” everything. In the end, he gave us a mastered product (in two, short weeks) that we are really proud of. Thanks Mark for your amazing work!”
- Vikas Sharma (Deadbeat Superheroes)
“Mark was an absolute pleasure to work with, his constant patience, ideas and humour are without a doubt what got us through the recording process, and our album is a far stronger release because of it.”
- Scott Brierley (Myridian)
